Description of the Schmetz Super universal needle 80/12
The Schmetz Super universal needle80/12 needles are especially for glued materials such as adhesive velcro, embroidery fleece with spray glue, glued thin leather and suede, adhesive fleece and for embroidery on, for example, Filmoplast.
The needle has a 2x larger eye than a normal needle. On the needle is a special coating so that glue does not stick to it. This allows your sewing machine to process these materials better. The needles are suitable for all sewing machines.
Which thickness of needle for which fabric?
- Needle thickness 70/10 for thin / medium fabric
- Needle thickness 80/12 for normal fabric
- Needle thickness 90/14 for thick fabric
