Gütermann Maraflex elastic sewing thread
Gütermann Maraflex elastic sewing thread is very elastic thread and works on all sewing machines! And therefore ideal for all elastic fabrics which are now in full fashion. The stretchability of up to 80% makes this seam particularly flexible and tear-resistant. The Gütermann Maraflex is available in 60 colors and applicable to light to medium-weight knitwear and elastic fabrics, such as jersey or fabrics with elastane. Gütermann Maraflex you use it very well alongside the regular Gütermann sewing thread, the color numbers correspond.Gütermann Maraflex is always used as upper and lower thread and sewn with a slight adjustment on the thread tension. This gives the seam room to stretch optimally later on. The best result for an elasticity seam is achieved with about four stitches per centimeter. Whether for a round neckline, adjacent hem seams or cuffs on pipes and sleeves, Gütermann Maraflex makes clothing flexible. It is an excellent fit for hoodies, jogging or children's pants. With non-fray fabrics, folding and hemming is no longer necessary: just cut the extra seam flat and you're done.
