Description
A Schmetz Leather needle 80/12 has a sharp, triangular point that cuts through fabric like a knife.
Therefore, do not use this needle for woven and/or knitted fabrics, but only for leather, faux leather, suede vinyl or other hard materials. The lower the numbering the more flexible the material can be.
What thickness of needle for which fabric?
- Needle thickness 60/8 for thin fabric
- Needle thickness 70/10 for thin / normal fabric
- Needle thickness 80/12 for normal fabric
- Needle thickness 90/14 for thick fabric
