Gütermann Maraflex is a very elastic sewing thread for all household sewing machines.
It turns stretchable seams into a straight-stitch look with playful ease – without an overlock or coverlock sewing machine.

Gütermann Maraflex sewing thread has a stretchability of up to 80 % in the seam, and that makes it particularly flexible. 
It is perfectly suited for sewing light to medium-weight knitted clothing and elastic fabrics, such as jersey or fabrics with elastane.

• Needle recommendation: stretch needle / super stretch needle
• Do not use an automatic cutting function with elastic thread
   
• Applications
• Elastic closing and stitching seams, for example for jersey and all fabrics with elastane
• Ideal for sewing round necklines and close-fitting hem seams
• For sewing cuffs onto trouser legs and sleeves, such as hoodies, jogging trousers or children's trousers
• Optimal elasticity of seams at 4 stitches/cm
• Sew with as little thread tension as possible
• Use on both bobbin and upper thread
