Gütermann Maraflex is a highly elastic sewing thread for all household sewing machines.
It effortlessly turns stretch seams into a straight-stitch look – without an overlock or coverlock sewing machine.

Gütermann Maraflex sewing thread has an elasticity of up to 80 % in the seam, which makes it particularly flexible. 
It is perfectly suitable for sewing light to medium-weight knitted clothing and elastic fabrics, such as jersey or fabrics with elastane.

• Needle recommendation: Stretch needle / Super Stretch needle
• Do not use an automatic cutting function with elastic thread
   
• Applications
• Elastic closing and stitching seams, for example for jersey and all fabrics with elastane
• Ideal for sewing round necklines and close-fitting hem seams
• For sewing cuffs onto trouser legs and sleeves, such as hoodies, jogging or children's trousers
• Optimal elasticity of seams at 4 stitches/cm
• Sew with as little thread tension as possible
• Use on both bobbin and upper thread
