Description
With the Bernina Zipper Foot 4, zippers are inserted neatly and precisely. Thanks to its narrow leading edge, Zipper Foot 4 can sew very close to the zipper teeth and insert the zipper very precisely. The result is a perfectly inserted zipper with an even stitch pattern.
Thanks to its narrow shape, Zipper Foot 4 is also suitable for sewing on piping and snap tape and for topstitching edges.

Method
Stitch selection: straight stitch
Stitch width: 0
Stitch length: 2-3
Needle position: right/left
Conveyor: sew
' Thread the zipper in the right place.
' Put the needle in the left position.
' Always start sewing at the bottom of the zipper.
' Sew approximately 5 cm, leaving the needle in the fabric.
' Raise the presser foot.
' Slide the tab of the zipper behind the presser foot.
' Lower the presser foot and continue sewing the first side.
' Now move the needle to the right position and continue sewing in the same way as for the first side.
