Bernina 20mm Binder 87

The 20mm Bernina Binder 87 is the ideal tool for sewing neat borders with pre-folded binding. This gives clothing, home accessories and handicrafts an even, beautiful edge.
With its built-in guide, the Bernina Binder attachment 87 ensures easy maintenance and even, neat borders.

Bands of 20mm width can be made on it.

Working method
Presser foot: presser foot for Binder foot No. 95/95C
Stitch selection: straight stitch/zigzag stitch
Stitch width: 0/0-4 mm
Stitch length: 2-3 mm
Feed teeth: sew
' Place the bias tape in the binder, if necessary push the tape through the opening with an object (e.g. toothpick).
' Slide the fabric edge to be finished under the presser foot so that the edge lies nicely in the bias tape. Adjust the needle position so that the bias tape is sewn with a narrow seam.
' In the case of quilted fabrics or several layers of fabric, they should be threaded or finished before finishing with bias tape.
