The Bernina band tool 88 32mm is for non pre-folded bands is excellent for edging fabric edges with a band.
The unfolded binding is pushed through the attached guide, positioned precisely on the fabric edge and held securely until sewn. This creates even and beautiful borders on home accessories, crafts and garments.
The Binder 88 is available in three versions for tape widths of 28, 32 and 38 mm.

TIP
For perfect results, the use of the matching presser foot 95 / 95C is necessary.
The binding will then be sewn on perfectly.

' Insert the bias tape into the binder attachment, if necessary push the tape through the opening with an object (e.g. toothpick).
' Slide the fabric edge to be finished under the presser foot, so that the edge lies nicely in the bias tape. Adjust the needle position so that the bias tape is sewn with a narrow seam.
' In the case of quilted fabrics or several layers of fabric, they should be threaded or finished before finishing with bias tape.
