Description
The extra-wide Schmetz Twin Needle 8.0/100 is suitable for regular household sewing machines with a zigzag function and at least 8 mm max. stitch width.
With the extra-wide twin needle, you can sew two exactly parallel, stretchable seams at the top of the seam at the same time on your normal household sewing machine with two upper threads. This has proved particularly useful when topstitching elastic cuffs on pants or skirts: this prevents the elastic from slipping and still keeps it stretchable.
The slightly rounded needle tips make the extra-wide universal twin needle easy to use on many types of fabric.
Caution!
Your sewing machine must have a zig-zag of 9mm in order to use this needle.
