Schmetz Jersey needle 70/10, also called ballpoint needles are especially for sewing on knitted and woven fabrics. The jersey needle prevents damaging or breaking the knitted fibers.
What thickness of needle for which fabric?
- Needle thickness 60/8 for thin fabric
- Needle thickness 70/10 for thin / medium fabric
- Needle thickness 80/12 for normal fabric
- Needle thickness 90/14 for thick fabric
