Description
This Prym basting needle for hand are made of hardened steel and refined brass. The brass version is a needle that is divided at the shank and opens towards the eye, giving the point a bulbous tip. When a tape is passed through this eye and then inserted through the needle halves, it is held in place and can then be pulled through the tunnel while firmly secured. The other threading needle, made of stainless steel, also has a blunt tip. However, it has a wide, flattened and therefore thinner needle shaft with a long and round eye.
