With the Pfaff 3mm rolled hem foot you can easily hem a blouse, scarf or flounce
with a straight stitch, without ironing it beforehand. Because the edge is rolled over, a neat and durable hem is created, fraying does not stand a chance.

hem width of the foot: 3mm, with IDT system
1. Select straight stitch, snap on the rolled hem footand enable the IDT system (if available on your machine). If necessary, press only the beginning of the hem at 3mm width, depending on the hem width of the foot. Place the fabric tightly under the groove under the foot and sew a few stitches. Lower the needle into the fabric to hold it in place. Lift the presser foot and pull the unfinished edge of the fabric into the roll of the hem foot. Lower the foot and continue sewing while holding the fabric edge up in front of the foot.
2. Make sure the fabric cannot get under the right half of the foot.
