What is punching?
Punching is a technique that has recently increased in popularity. No wonder, since this versatile, simple technique can be mastered by almost anyone and makes the most beautiful garments, bags, hats, etc.

Fabrics
Almost all fabrics can be felted with the creative embroidery kit for felting. However, some fabrics give better results than others when they are embellished or washed.The recommended fabrics are of natural fibers, such as wool and woolen pre-thread. The fabrics can best be roughened or have a woven-in texture.Roughened fabrics adhere to a roughened surface or natural fibers or to a base of mixed fibers.Do not use synthetic "wrinkle-free" fabrics and fabrics with a smooth surface.The effect varies from fabric to fabric. Always try it out on a scrap of fabric before starting.

Hooping in the embroidery hoop
When embroidering with felt needles, no thread is used. The fabric is hooped right side down in the hoop.When embroidering free-standing embroidery designs or when using wool front thread, water soluble stabilizer is required.
