Description of the Pfaff button sewing foot
Pfaff button attachment foot
Attaching buttons can be a tedious job, but that's a thing of the past with the Pfaff button sewing foot! Use this foot to sew on buttons with 2- or 4-hole holes of different sizes.
Set the stitch width to the space between the holes and your machine will do the rest. By using a pin, you can also sew on buttons with a stem.
If you want to sew on a button with a stem, push the plastic part of the presser foot toward you so that it will be between both holes of the button. When you have finished sewing on the button, pull back the plastic part, remove the button from the presser foot and cut the threads. Wrap sewing thread around the thread between the button and the fabric and knot it.
