Lamp removal
To make it a little more convenient, lay the sewing machine as shown on the side of the handwheel.
- Hold the machine with one hand against it.
- Push it up and turn it counterclockwise
- Then turn the bulb half a turn to the left and remove it from the machine.

Insert
- Insert the bulb into the skewed socket and turn the bulb until the two lugs of the bulb fit snugly into the socket.
- Push it up and turn clockwise.
