The Riva lamps with bayonet fitting are designed specifically for sewing machines and lockers and have a long life when used in machines. The reinforced filament ensures that this device lamp stands up well to vibration.

Lamp removal
To make it a little more convenient, lay the sewing machine on the side of the handwheel as shown.
- Hold the machine up with one hand.
- Push the lamp into the socket as far as it will go.
- Then turn the bulb a half turn, counterclockwise, and remove it from the machine.

Insert
- Insert the bulb into the angled socket and turn the bulb until the two lugs on the bulb fit snugly into the socket.
- Now push the bulb into the socket as far as it will go and turn it clockwise until it is secure
