Description
The original Husqvarna narrow hem foot 3mm is for sewing a narrow hem in normal fabrics.
Suitable for edges of napkins, curtains or collars. Straight stitch, length 2.5 to 3 (also with decorative stitch). Snap on the presser foot.
For sewing a very narrow hem in very thin fabrics such as, for example, silk scarves, batiste handkerchiefs, shirts, collars and lingerie. Straight stitch, length
1. Snap on the presser foot.
2. Fold a double hem (as wide as the guide on the underside of the foot) in the first three inches of the hem to be sewn.
3. Place the hem under the presser foot and sew a few stitches along the edge of the hem.
4. Stop with the needle in the fabric, raise the presser foot and pull the edge of the fabric up into the sliding guide on the foot. Lower the presser foot and continue sewing. Do not help turn the fabric edge, just hold the edge of the fabric up.
