You can adjust the sewing speed precisely with the foot control, or select a fixed speed using the integrated slider at eye level. The presser foot pressure can be adjusted for thin or thick fabrics. With the dimmable sewing light, you can always create the optimal atmosphere for precise work. Thanks to the powerful DC motor, you always maintain full control.

Versatile edge finishing: that’s the specialty of this serger, which lets you create professional, durable seams and hems on stretch fabrics. You can also finish woven fabrics to perfection. Thanks to the differential feed and MTC thread control, you can create perfect stitches with any conceivable combination of thread and fabric. Rolled hems or decorative flat seams give your project that extra touch. You can add stylish accents, such as gathers and pleats, in no time at all.

The L 660 offers even more convenience: the built-in needle threader allows you to thread the needles quickly. With the integrated Bernina Free-Hand System (FHS) featuring a knee lever, you can raise the presser foot and lower the feed dog simultaneously. The needle stop can be programmed to occur above or below the fabric using the foot control. The speed control and dimmable sewing light provide even more comfort. As an added bonus, the extension table is included as a standard accessory with the L 660.

The L 660 has a maximum sewing speed of 1,200 stitches per minute. Using the foot control, you can precisely regulate the motor for powerful, consistent performance at any sewing speed.
