Bernina Cord inserts for gatherer foot

Bernina Cord Inserts for Foot 72 creatively incorporate yarn, cord, wool or felt threads into your sewing project. Enjoy easy appliquéing using a Plexiglas ruler as a support, or freehand. The inserts are used in conjunction with the Adjustable Bernina Ruler Foot 72 and attach to the underside of the foot. The use of high-quality materials makes the insert particularly robust and protects the surface when quilting with metallized thread or cord.

The three inserts with hole diameters of 1.4, 1.8 and 2.2 mm are suitable for thin, medium and thick cord.

Please note that the inserts make the foot longer (+3.5 mm). To avoid problems with the stitch plate, adjust the height of the foot to the smallest setting (between 4 mm and 0 mm) before installing the foot via the selector switch.
