Description
The original Bernina CB gripper is a metal gripper for Berninas with a vertical bobbin case.
Clean gripper
- turn main switch to "0" and unplug it
- remove bobbin case
- push release lever to the left
- fold down closure bracket with black gripper track ring
- remove gripper and clean gripper track; do not use pointed objects
- attach gripper, if necessary turn handwheel, until gripper float is on the left
- close gripper path ring and locking bracket, unlocking lever must engage
- turn handwheel for inspection
- insert reel sleeve
Oil the looper
- apply a few drops of oil to the looper track (1-2 drops)
- briefly idle the sewing computer (without thread) to avoid contaminating the material
