The Schmetz ELx705 SUK CF needles 80/12 are adapted to the requirements of the respective machine model and cannot be exchanged for other household or overlock needles.
The SCHMETZ ELx705 SUK CF overlock needle - like most household needles - has a flat plunger for easy positioning in the sewing machine.

The special feature of the ELx705 SUK CF overlock needle that distinguishes it from other household needles is the second thread groove.it supports stitch formation for chain stitches such as overlock or coverlock and ensures that only a small amount of thread tension is needed for stitch formation.

Like the jersey needle, the ELx705 SUK CF has a medium convex point and is therefore perfect for knit fabrics such as jersey or sweatshirt fabrics.
