Pfaff Ornamental Binding Foot
Embellish your work with a variety of embellishments using the Pfaff decorative binding foot. This foot easily guides the embellishment through the opening on the front and through the cutout under the foot.
1. Thread the machine with regular sewing thread or a decorative thread on top and use regular thread in the bobbin.
2. Choose a zigzag stitch or a decorative stitch. Do not use stitches with too wide a side-to-side movement or stitches with too much movement forward and backward.
3. Place the tape in the presser foot.
4. Snap on the decorative tape foot.
5. Turn on the IDT system.
6. Sew carefully, not too fast. Enable the slow sew function if your machine has it. (You may need to use stabilizer under the fabric.)
7. You will get best results with flat ribbons, such as ribbons made of silk, velvet, satin or cotton.
