Buttonhole chisel

The buttonhole chisel with wooden block is an ideal tool for opening rounded buttonholes.
The wooden block lies under the fabric, while the buttonhole chisel is pressed onto the fabric from above.
Just a little pressure is needed to undo the fabric.
The blade of the buttonhole cutter is positioned between the cordons and cuts directly through the opening onto the wooden block below.
Thanks to its fine construction, the blade cuts precisely without damaging the cordon or cord.
This makes it possible to avoid unsightly threads, for example on buttonholes in overcoats.
