As a sewing foot, the Bernina shell and tricot hem foot 2 mm 68 is excellent for hemming soft fabrics such as t-shirts or underwear, for example.
The fabric is guided through the opening from the front and folded in half. This creates a narrow and sturdy hem, which in combination with the corresponding stitch type creates the tried-and-tested shell hem.
The shell and stockinette hem foot 68 is equipped with a guide with a width of 2 mm.
