Bernina Overlock Foot 2A

The Bernina Overlock Foot 2A is ideal for fabricating overlock seams and hems.

It is ideally suited for finishing simple seams.
The stitches are formed over the connection piece on the inside and therefore contain an extra amount of thread. This prevents the fabric from contracting.
A flat and elastic seam is created. You can also sew high-quality hems, cuff and cord seams on knit fabric with the overlock foot.

Stitch selection: Overlock stitch
Stitch width: approx. 4, depending on fabric type
Stitch length: 1-1.5
Needle position: right
Feed-dog: sewing

' Place fabric edges under the foot so that the tip of the foot rests on the cut edge.
' When turning out to the right, the needle should always stick out of the fabric right next to the tip. This creates ample thread, i.e. the fabric edge remains nice and flat.
' The overlock foot is well suited to finishing seams.
' The fabric edge remains flat. You can use both the zigzag stitch and the overlock stitch.

The sole on the underside of the foot of Bernina overlock foot 2A is wider than that of overlock foot 2 for better grip.
