Bernina 710/750/780 Cordonnet bobbin case

Description of the Bernina 710/750/780 Cordonnet bobbin case
A red Bernina Cordonnet bobbin case creates beautiful stitches with the bobbin thread, also called the under-thread trim stitch, with the creative bobbin case. You can use the Bernina Cordonnet bobbin case in different ways, depending on the type of decorative thread you use for your projects.
For thick or specialty thread
Wind the decorative thread slowly and evenly onto the bobbin. Place the spool in the Cordonnet spool housing. For thin woven fabric, use thinner specialty thread and, if necessary, adjust the bobbin thread tension using the screw on the bobbin case so that the thread is pulled out evenly. Place the bobbin case in the sewing machine.
Tips:
To make operation as easy as possible, there is little possibility of adjusting the thread tension on the bobbin case (somewhat depending on the thickness of the thread used). All adjustments for thread tension are made at the top tension. Because the yarn on the bobbin is fragile, it is important to thread the yarn carefully or it will not stay in the correct position. Therefore, this is best done with the thread threader provided or by holding the thread closer to the bobbin case instead of the metal eyelet.
