Description of the Babylock Elastic Foot, for overlock machine
The Babylock elastic foot is a practical tool for sewing with elastic bands.
Elastic with a width of 5 to 12 millimeters can be inserted.
Through a special roller, the elasticator foot ensures even tension on the band. The elastic is thus stretched and evenly sewn on.
The adjusting screw thereby ensures stepless regulation of the tension. A built-in guide also ensures precise and wrinkle-free material feed.
This allows you to sew the elastic precisely on home accessories and bath and sportswear. The elasticator foot is also ideally suited for the professional manufacture of lingerie.

| Set the overlock machine for the desired stitch |
| Loosen the screw on the front of the elasticator foot to take the tension off the roll. Insert the elastic into the foot |
| Snap the foot onto the machine and pull the elastic to behind the foot |
| Tighten the tension screw to tension the elastic |
| Turn the handwheel to sew the first few stitches to secure the elastic |
| Place the fabric under the foot and sew the elastic to the fabric |
| Check the stitch and adjust the tension if necessary |
| Note: To adjust the stretch of the elastic band |
| Turn the tension screw to the right for more stretch |
| Turn the screw to the left for less stretch |
| Do not stretch the fabric while sewing |
